** Update The Owners changed their strategy after the FF release. Before FF they were at a smaller location and seemed to care about getting the community affordable (msrp) priced product.
Boars Hat is hands down the best local game store. The owner, Stan, has cultivated a thriving player base for all TCG's including Magic, Pokémon, Riftbound, and more! All the staff are very knowledgeable. The prices are always fair and product is usually abundant.
I've been dragged into a lot of my husband's hobbies over the years, and I fully expected this to be another "smile and nod" situation. Instead? I actually love this place. The staff are warm, funny, and never make you feel dumb for asking questions. My boys have found their spot, and honestly, so have I.
Boar's Hat is awesome!!! The people are really nice and they help me find cards and answer all my questions. Me and my dad have so much fun here. Best card shop ever!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
