Privacy policy
cardshops.org is a free directory. There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no forms. We don't sell or rent visitor information.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects information such as the pages you view, your browser and device type, and your approximate location based on your IP address. We use these reports in aggregate to improve the site.
Google processes this data under its own policies. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
Advertising
The site doesn't use any ad networks right now, and no advertising cookies are set. We may add advertising in the future. If we do, we'll update this page before ads appear, including which ad partners are involved, what cookies they use and how to opt out.
Other services that load in your browser
Some page content is loaded from other companies' servers. When your browser requests it, those servers receive your IP address and basic browser information, as with any website:
- Shop photos are loaded from Google's image servers.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
- Map tiles are loaded from OpenFreeMap when you open a map.
The "open now" note on listings is worked out in your browser and isn't sent to us. If you use the map's locate button, your browser asks for permission first, and your location is used in your browser to center the map.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and to make the correction or change you asked for.
Business listings
Listings are built from public business information, public customer reviews and shops' own websites. Review quotes show the reviewer's public display name as it appears with the review. To correct or remove a listing, or a quote or photo you posted, email hello@cardshops.org.
Children
The site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

We'll update this page when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
