Getting a fair offer in Birmingham

  1. Know what you have. Sort by game and set, and look up recent sold prices for your best cards. A shop prices an unsorted box with caution.
  2. Get offers from more than one shop. Card Addicts and Magic City Collectibles may want different cards, so the same stack can get different offers.
  3. Ask for the store-credit price too. Shops usually pay more in credit than in cash. Take it if you would spend it there anyway.
  4. Call before a big trip. Ask whether they are buying your game right now, when the buyer is in, and whether to bring a photo ID.
