Vermont Gaming Academy Rutland in Rutland, VT

I was here earlier today (8/27/22) with my mom. The one guy there was very friendly and lets you try out the consoles if your nice enough. The best gaming store I've been to so far. I recommend this store ti anybody that wants to get into retro gaming. 10/10 spot and i will go again.

I love taking my kids here, staff are super helpful and friendly and so are the other customers! They have a classic Ninja Turtles arcade cabinet and my kids wanted to try it out, but I didn't have any quarters. Another customer offered up some quarters so we could play.

This place is so cool! They have tons of stock for Pokémon stuff even when everywhere else in town is sold out, and their prices for single cards are around or even lower than what they are on TCGPlayer. There was a slight markup on booster packs ($7 vs $5 retail), but that's the only way to combat scalpers.

Definitely the best TCG shop in Vermont! Both Rutland & Burlington locations are always stocked with vintage and modern Pokemon cards along with Magic, Yugioh and other TCGs. They also carry a great selection of retro video games and consoles. Matt & Corey have always been beyond helpful.
