Super neat new sports card store in downtown Oak Park. My 9 year old son is into collecting sports cards and they have a great variety of cards, jerseys and sports memorabilia. All very reasonably priced! The owner is knowledgeable and answered all my son’s questions.
Amazing card shop! Matt the owner is awesome. I’m new to the “hobby” and purchased some cards through online breaking. I had no idea what I had or how to sell them. I talked with Matt, he came in before the store opened to go over the cards I had and explained a lot along the way.
The vibe of the place is great. The bald guy at the register is very unwelcoming though. In my experience at least. The guy who i assume owns the shop was busy with trades but still had more energy and salesmen ship than the guy at the register. He couldn’t care less to make a sale with me.
I love this shop! I'm very new to collectibles and Matt and Adam were helpful and attentive with my questions. I ended up getting several different card packs (football and hockey) and turned out to get some really fun surprises in them! I also purchased a sweatshirt that has become one of my favorites to wear.
