Man this place is great! Can’t believe we have something like this in Alameda!!! I’ve been to many other retro video gabe stores but what sets this apart are their commitment for hard to find items, Japanese imports and lots of variety for every console available in store.
LOVE this place! Finally a retro game store in the East Bay right next to everything, in the heart of Alameda, right across the street from Forbidden Island. This place has a variety of games in their collection, hella imports, and superior customer service! Check it out if you haven't!
Great to see more retro game stores, especially in the East Bay! This store has a healthy collection of retro titles from Game Gear, Saturn and of course Xbox/PlayStation/Nintendo. There's a good split of domestic and international versions of games.
This gives me local GameStop but so much better vibes. The people here are very friendly and quite helpful with information. You can tell that the people that work there have a wide variety of passions and interests relating to video games and collectibles of all genre types.
