It's Your Move Games in Oakland, CA

This is the place to play! They have an amazing library of games to rent or play (including games from local designers!), epic game nights, comedy nights, great deals, and so much more! They also support local game designers, and participate in community events like PRIDE.

Fantastic local game store. The owners let my friends and I play dungeons and Dragons there when we were in high school and still visit at times. Plenty of board games and tabletop games are available to purchase. Space to play games as well with cheap prices.

As a D&D enthsiest, this is my one-stop shop for most things D&D. As a chess enthusiast, Ilike the chess games they host on Sundays. Always seems to be a good turnout of people who want to play. You never know what kind or opponent you'll be up against.

The owner and staff are always wonderful and great to talk to! I love supporting this local game store compared to getting it at say Target. They have really cool local or games you've never heard of. Glad they held on during the start of the pandemic when lots of businesses were closing down.
