I’ve been going to Prowess Gaming for about a year and a half and it’s easily one of the best stores around. The community is awesome, beginner friendly, super consistent crowd with tons of people showing up every week to play Commander for Friday Night Magic (FNM) (they’ve really got the best prizes anywhere).
I really like this shop. I've been to a number of card shops along the coast in CT now and this is in my top 3. They have their cards inventoried online so it's easy to find what you're looking for. Very nice and friendly staff.
Huge inventory of multiple card games, singles and packs; MTG, Yu Gi Oh!, Pokémon, Lorcana, Weiss & Schwartz etc. Good schedule of events for players. Also does custom PC builds as well as upgrades to your current PC. Super friendly and knowledgeable owner, willing to help you find whatever you’re looking for.
Excellent atmosphere. Just got back into MTG and honestly it's been a really fast paced learning environment. Helpful veteran players, store owner is wicked chill and always available to answer questions. Biggest single card selection around. Update: still a solid place, still go on a regular basis.
