I’m probably biased, but Pat’s Games is one of the best, if not the best, Magic: The Gathering stores in the nation! The sheer abundance of cards and community I’ve found there is astounding.
One of the coolest shops I've ever been to, and ONTOP of that, they have really good prices. The parking is abysmal, and there aren't that many singles on display, but that's all I got to say negatively. If you're thinking about checking it out, just go.
Writing this as I gear up to move out of Austin and making sure to comment on my favorite places but; I've been coming to this store for as long as I've lived in this city, which is two decades now.
Pat's Games has been a cornerstone of the MTG community in Austin and even for surrounding cities for decades. I recently returned to Pat's after a hiatus from the game, to sell some cards. I was pleasantly surprised to see the amazing interior upgrades they did during the pandemic!
