Matt's Basement: Anime, Comics, and More in Rockford, IL

Matt has a great array of Anime related products ranging from figures to stickers, body pillows, etc. For the comic-ally inclined he also has a room dedicated to long boxes filled with comics! Along with a wall of comic keys at the register! Something cool is he sells laser engraved spoons, coasters, and Bottles!

Stopped here today came in to see what they had to offer. Great selection, owner was nice as well and inviting. Great atmosphere. Although adult 18 plus items I would say still kid friendly! Highly recommend

I dont ever leave a review but this is such a cool place! Many rooms for each of your preferences. Matt the owner was super cool and friendly. Not a crowded small shop either, you can walk around freely and without a hassle. Space is considerably large. Cleanliness, organization, and variety was amazing.

Probably my kids new favorite place! The guy working was so kind and patient with my kids helping them find what they were looking for!! They have .50 cent, $1 and $2 comics. Like actual name brand super heros and stuff.
