I stopped by CT’s Hobbies yesterday looking for a set of d10 dice, something I hadn’t been able to find anywhere else. I had called ahead, and as soon as I walked in and mentioned it, someone immediately went over to the dice bin and started helping me look.
I don’t think CT’s Hobbies is great because of the merchandise or all the products they sell—that stuff is fine, but it's not what makes the place special. What really sets it apart is the people. The staff and the regulars create a genuinely welcoming, supportive atmosphere.
This is a great store! I had a ton of fun. I brought a few cards to trade and for the most part is was a fair price. I ended up trading a few cards in for a sealed product and opened it up in store. I pulled a duplicate that was valuable and traded it for even more cards. It's like an infinite card glitch!
Have always had a great experience here. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Prices are fair based on TCGPlayer market and their sealed prices are reasonable compared to other shops in the area. Pokemon league and Friday night Magic are also a good time. The players and judges are knowledgeable.
