newest LGS in town, and so glad to have had such a great experience in a neighborhood that honestly needed some homegrown business owners to really make japantown feel like the cozy place i've known it to be. George, the owner, let me know he was raised in SF and it made buying from him all the better.
I highly recommend Golden Gate Games. The owner George is a wonderful person, has a great personality, and is extremely helpful! He sells Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, and One Piece at very fair prices. I purchased Magic the Gathering Play Boosters and Singles from him. Can’t wait to return!
Ive lived in sf my whole life and never have i been to a card shop as good as golden gate games. every other card shop ive been too is either too cluttered or scalpers run the shop which leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth after leaving. didnt have that problem at golden gate games!
Pretty chill gaming space for Commander. New Store. I like it! -The store is on MTG Companion APP so that is convenient for me. They may have other socials depending on your need. -I would pop in at start time 6pm Sundays check it out. -If you like to drive.
