Ever since it opened DPG has been my favorite place in the neighborhood. The staff and community here are incredible, as is the selection of games. I highly recommend checking the website for events (especially Learn to Plays, which are a great way to dip your feet in) and the Discord server to find people to play…
I love this place! First of all, the owner is incredible and I met him right when the place started. The service is great - we were playing Everdell and he literally walked my group of 4 through how to play the entire game and spent so much time with us.
My boyfriend randomly found this place in the morning and brought me back in the afternoon. This place was great!! Everyone was friendly, the game collection was impressive, and it was the perfect cup filling activity for an introvert / extrovert couple. Bonus: outside food and drink is allowed!
Always fire. I love hanging out here and playing games. They even have food from the neighboring restaurant, Marcella's. They host plenty of events and a summer camp for kids. It's so close to the best dispensary in the city: The Hill SF
