Gilt Leaf Games in Norwich, CT

This place just opened up but it's one of the best hobby shops I've ever been to. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. They sell a variety of products including Magic the Gathering, Yugioh, Pokemon, board games, drones, and video games. They also have weekly tournaments as well.

About a year ago, I moved approximately 300 miles, 3 states away from Gilt Leaf Games. To this day, I still compare every Local Game Store and Hobby Shop I head inside of to how great of an experience I had with Gilt Leaf Games. This store is phenomenal. I still try to do business with them to this day.

Rich @ Gilt Leaf has been a HUGE HELP in my return to playing Magic. I've been out of the loop for more than 10 years, so a lot of my seemingly silly/irrelevant questions, were easily taken care of here. He has helped me understand the landscape of sets and product types so I don't just throw my money out the window.

On a whim one day my oldest boy asked to check the place out. The owner is incredibly nice and willing to show my young ones how to play Magic for the first time. The patrons that frequent this establishment are also kind. They were willing to teach my kids how to play.
