I brought my boys in on Super Bowl Sunday, originally looking for Pokémon cards (we found some and they were a great price) but ended up learning all about Magic The Gathering.
I previously visited this place for the 1st time a while back for a Hearthstone tournament (which was an amazing event, wish there were more!). I stopped by again this past weekend after not having not played Magic for nearly 10 years. Came in with all the cards I still have and spoke with Bruce.
Really enjoy this place, especially during the weekends/evening hours playing Magic(Commander play format) I also like the staff who are very friendly but yet professional to boot, and their selection of cards is fantastic and acceptable.
as a mtg player this store is handsdown the best place to shop in san antonio. guys that work here are great and they always seem to have what im looking for. hard to buy local these days when its so easy to buy cards online but gamerz is always my first stop when looking for specific cards.
