Getting a fair offer in Minneapolis

  1. Know what you have. Sort by game and set, and look up recent sold prices for your best cards. A shop prices an unsorted box with caution.
  2. Get offers from more than one shop. Tower Games and Tower Games - Bloomington may want different cards, so the same stack can get different offers.
  3. Ask for the store-credit price too. Shops usually pay more in credit than in cash. Take it if you would spend it there anyway.
  4. Call before a big trip. Ask whether they are buying your game right now, when the buyer is in, and whether to bring a photo ID.
