Visions Cards and Games in Montgomery, AL

I stopped by last month on a Wednesday while in town to see if I could pick up a quick game or two of Commander to blow off steam. The clerk said that FNM would be my best bet because the Montgomery MTG community is smaller than my LGS back home.

Honestly a great place, the other players are so helpful when it comes to being new to a game. The dungeon masters there are so nice and good at what they do. With the staff, I have never had a problem. A great place for all your nerdy needs.

About 7-8 years ago I wrote a very negative review for Visions. I ended it by saying, if they got new management then the place might be good again. Fast forward to a year ago. They have not only new management, but new owners. I have to admit I was wrong.

I just think the Magic community isn't big in this area, like in areas such as Biloxi Ms. The store would be a lot more consistent on FNM, but that's not really a store problem. The small MTG community we do have here is pretty welcoming, and the store is not bad it self.
