Vangaurd Skills is a hobby store with a mission. They owner has a passion for teaching, and has started this store with the intention of helping kids learn and grow through fun and games. They have an awesome space for all sorts of games, including demo copies of tons of great board games.
This afternoon we got the chance to visit Vanguard Tabletop Gaming with our son who really likes the Star Wars Unlimited card game. We have been to other shops like this and they have all been great but with this one we were truly blown away by how many people were there playing whatever they were playing.
My buddy and I drove over from New Beige to check out this shop today for the first time. Definitely worth it. The guys working there were super friendly and joked around with us the whole time about MtG. They have an ample singles selection and decent booster pack selection of Magic and they’re all priced right.
What a gem this place is! I have family on the Cape and emailed Vanguard from out of state to set up an introductory D&D session for an 11 y/o relative. Sean was very helpful and flexible to get things set up, and together with another DM gave a small group of kids a really fun new player experience.
