I brought my 9 year old son here today because he wanted to check out the store. The owner was very kind and showed us the kids selections. The store is really cool, and there are lots of options for any comic book collector.
Very clean and organized store for a comic book store. I was eavesdropping on the conversation the store clerk was having with one of her regulars, who came in that day to pick up 40+ comics, and was delighted with the amount of information and dialogue the two were throwing at each other. Good job, lady clerk!
Awesome store, went there for Marvel Pre-release MTG. It was run smoothly and the vibes for immaculate!
I was in Chicago for work this week, running on olives and hotel coffee between bus jobs, and decided my off time needed a good comic hunt. I bounced through a few shops with crazy prices and staff who looked annoyed I existed… then I walked into Thunder Comics.
