Full disclosure: I'm friends with the owners. But even if I wasn't, it wouldn't change my opinion that this is hands-down the nicest gaming store I've visited. It's spacious and well-lit, with a comfortable gaming area and easy-to-browse shelves.
From beginning to end, this new store provides a fantastic experience! If you like to socialize by playing games, this is the place to come. Whether you're a grandma (like me), a true "gamer," a parent, teen or even a younger kid, there will be something in this store for you.
Went looking to see if I could find a ttrpg group, and they did not disappoint. Heather gave me a tour of the whole shop. Board games, RPG books, accessories, minis, paints, dice, work takes (rented use), game tables (rented use), and tcg cards.
The Sanctum is an amazing board game store. My 7 (and 1/2) year old daughter (she is helping me write this) and I spent the day there and she still wants to go back to look at and to do more! Don't worry, there are "traditional" board games such as Life and "throw-back" games such as Rock 'em Sock 'em.
