In A nutshell a coworker very recently Got me into playing a trading card game for the 1st time in my 29 years of life. Although I had many a friends during my military service that played I would always shy away. I was recommended to go to the rising Sun games to check out their selection.
The game store owners, Josh and Glen, ate knowledgeable of a plethora of different games. They offer tables for free play for magic, yugioh, pokemon, etc. As well as wargames such as warhammer and battletech. They host regular events for a variety of games as well as learn to plays for old games.
This place has really gone above and beyond. I was looking for a place to play D&D and not only were the owners of the store really nice in helping me get into it, they also helped me organize a D&D Adventure League every Sunday at 5pm!
An absolute gem in the desert! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff. They went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I was looking for and even gave me some great recommendations for existing and new cards, which re-ignited my passion for collecting Pokémon…
