The GOAT Card Shop in Florence, MA

The GOAT is a must stop for TCG players, especially Pokemon TCG players and collectors! This is NOT a dark dreary hole in the wall with stacks of smelly rotting cardboard that no one is interested in, priced to sit on the shelf for eternity, with sketchy employees that make you feel uncomfortable.

Went in today for the first time. Was greeted by the owner, Edward. Instantly was a very conversational guy, super nice, and just talked about magic from the start. Edward was very helpful in finding prices for the cards I needed in his expanding magic collection.

Went with my friends to get Pokémon cards to try and attempt to set up decks to play the card game but didn’t really know much about it outside of basic knowledge. The owner had a set up to build your own deck for cheap with thousands of cards to choose from.

I decided to start collecting Abras and I’m glad I started with this as my first stop. Got 4 WOTC Abras and one is even Base Set! The shop is clean, organized, and the owner was knowledgeable and kind. He was kind to younger kids starting their collection and was kind to my husband and I.
