The Game Haven in Pikesville, MD

The Game Haven is a large, welcoming space for all gamers! Specializing in Magic the Gathering, they also run D&D sessions for beginners, and tabletop wargames.

At a time a few years ago when my kid’s school wasn’t feeling like an easy place to make friends and a few other social interactions with parents and kids had been less friendly than I’d expected, we stopped in at Game Haven for Junior Pokemon Club.

honestly, blown away by the experience. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. they were able to fit me in given that it was not that busy I was able to sell some old cards that I had in my closet. they were able to price cards out individually and sorted through my box of hundreds of cards.

I personally don’t have much experience with collecting and selling so I came to the game haven with some 90’s era Pokémon and MTG cards that my brother collected when he was kid, to see if they had any worth. Jake was the employee that ended up helping me, he was very friendly and informative to a new guy like me.
