Pretty sick spot! Didn't know it existed until I ordered from them off of TCGplayer. (They accidentally sent the wrong condition of a card I ordered) I learned it was super closeby so I stopped inside and they gave me a great deal on an exchange, and a discount on a graded card they no longer wanted.
Starlight Games is a card shop in Newark DE that hosts a variety of tournaments like Pokemon, Yugioh, Magic the Gathering card games, along with the video game tournaments Super Smash bros Melee and Ultimate every Wednesday evenings. Fighting game tournaments occur every other week on Sunday evenings.
Owners are cool. I had no idea Delaware even had a fighting game community. People are friendly that show up and you can learn alot in the fighters they play. Warning: if you're used to playing on your set up, bring it. Otherwise it will be an uphill battle against the competition. GG's to everyone that crushed me👍
As a yugioh collector, I was happy to see a large selection of vintage/retro cards and sealed product. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Got a great deal on some cards I needed for my collection. Will definitely stop by again if I’m ever back in the area.
