Spud's Emporium of Comics & Games in Ottumwa, IA

Spud's is just getting started but this little shop brings something different to the table. Something I've long felt Ottumwa has sorely needed. It's a comfortable and laid-back place to visit, hang out and pick up all the odds and ends a ttrpg gamer could want or need.

Spud's Emporium is more than a store; it is an institution. It's like the bar on Cheers, where everybody knows your name, and the employees can tell you about things that you will love that you never even knew existed.

went in a giant group of nerds into a bunch of different stuff and we were all so excited!! SO much to look through and the owner is so genuine and sweet, great prices too. absolutely made everyone’s week, we still talk about how amazing they were :)

Regular here. Fantastic environment and people. Magic the Gathering gets the place crowded but if you don't mind it, it's pretty good!
