Came in because I heard they sell retro games, but it's really a comic book shop first. Tons of new and old issues, with limited prints and staff that know their stuff. The retro game section has some rarer items spread across four shelves.
I'm completely new to comics and the staff at SpaceCat have been incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to answer my questions. The people working there have a clear passion for the medium and walked me through everything there is to know about any series or storyline I may be interested in.
One of my favorite places in the South Bay! There used to be more, but I’ll gladly take one over nothing. I really like that they have both comics and retro video games.
i’ve never written a google review before, but i had such a wonderful experience here that i felt i just had to! i called in to ask some questions about how to build a pokemon deck and was very kindly encouraged to bring in my cards and any questions i had. i’m so glad i came in!
