Space Boat Games in Mattoon, IL

I do not often write reviews for businesses unless I find something truly notable. This place is one of those things. I have never encountered friendlier staff at a Gaming Store than this one. The gentleman at the counter was kind, quite funny, and very very helpful.

Spaceboat Games in Mattoon is truly a hidden gem! The moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with a warm welcome and a atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

I was definitely out of my element here. I've never been to a game store! I stopped in for a Secret Santa gift for my daughter's friend. We were looking for Pokemon cards. We were greeted as we stepped in the door & experienced some of the best & most sincere customer service I have experienced in a long time.

Amazing employee and owner. Always welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. Another major plus is that it is family friendly, my five year old can go with his dad and play games and I don't have to worry about how he will be treated or what he may hear.
