Showcase Comics and Collectables in Slidell, LA

The place had very nice people behind the counter, I was able to purchase a childhood collectible of mine for 60 dollars. I hope that they’re able to fix the damage that had been done to the store because of the robbery. I hope my money helps out, drove and hour and was very happy with the outcome.

FCBD was great! Friendly staff, answered my questions asking for prices (since I couldn't find any real stickers in the store). Bought a nice copy of "New Ghostbusters #1" and got 5 comics for me and my daughter

Store is packed and unfortunately is a bit unorganized. Nothing is priced except certain high value comics. Went looking for some Pokemon cards for a grandchild and was told that the basic cards are $1.00 each...most other places sell them between 0.10 and 0.25 cents each.

I have seen lots of comic stores here n there, but none seem to be as down to earth, helpful and friendly as this place!!! From the 1st time we walked in, Erin, was easy to talk to and she was great at Christmas time with keeping a certain book a secret for me, so I could buy it without my husband knowing.
