I was passing through the area on a business trip and had a little time before heading home, so I decided to stop in and check the place out. I went in just planning to browse, but ended up spending more time than I expected.
This was the first time in the shop. I had heard about Shep’s and came from out of state. It didn’t disappoint. They had the most vintage cards I have seen in a long time and a large variety as well. It was very evident that it is family owned and operated. Everyone was very friendly and made you feel at home.
Sheps is by far the best card shop I’ve ever been to. Everyone who works there makes you feel like family. James (the old guy) is always there and treats my young boys like they are his own grandkids. Cards should be about how you feel when you collect them.
My son and I went to a see and get an autograph, from Jevon Kearse. The event was well organized and Jevon was great. I got to meet Shep the owner, who was a very nice local guy. The shop is full of sports cards and memorabilia. Everyone was very nice and the store was well organized. Great locally owned card shop!!
