Retro Play Co in Urbandale, IA

Found this place online and took my son to check it out. He had some Pokemon cards he wanted to trade in for football. I know nothing about them. The staff were extremely friendly and more than happy to work with him even though they were busy.

My son and I dropped by here on a Sunday. Loved the feel of the smaller shop! Selection of blasters/hobby packs and boxes were fairly decent for it being relatively new (with reasonable prices). Owners were friendly and approachable as well. We'll definitely be back in!

Attended a kids trading event and it was VERY fun! My son had a great time and I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. Great selection of individual player cards sorted for easy browsing. Being able to find a specific player quickly is awesome.. very easy for people if they’re gift shopping for someone else!

Went in with some base set and xy evo pokemon cards. Staff was welcoming and engaging. After just a few minutes of inspection, they were interested in making an offer . I knew what I had, I knew a rough market value and even did some mental comps on the cards they had for sale.
