“After talking about a couple and even going to the back to bring one out for me to look over I eventually decided on Azul, a strategy game I'd played before.” (Google review)

In an era when the market is crowded with 'local game stores' popping in every strip mall, Opal Games truly stands out. Welcoming, warm, well curated, and dare I say, joyful, Opal Games is a gem.
Definitely one of my new favorite hangout spots in Detroit. I recently decided to rekindle my enjoyment for board games and I found this spot as I was looking around Google. They have the most complete selection of modern board games of all weights, including Party Games and 2 Player Only Games.
Thet have tons of games, as well as unique stuff you can't find at a big store! Plus they are great at telling what kind of games you might like. I have gotten really great game recommendations from them, and they will order something special if I want it.
Hidden gem that welcomes gamers of every kind. They sell games, have space to rent for gaming and put on a host of gaming activities. One of my favorites in Detroit.
