NewCastle Comics & Games in Longmont, CO

Was visiting from AZ and checking stores while on vacay. Great little shop. Very clean and open design. Staff very helpful and informative and willing to engage in conversation unlike most of the stores I found north of them (I only checked out stores in Longmont/Loveland/Greeley/Ft. Collins).

My experience here was great. The owner was there alone and still chose to help myself and my fiancé go through my dad’s old chest of comic books (probably around 150 of them). He helped us get them inside and then sorted them out for me based on value. He talked to us about them and explained their worth.

I asked for a game for my five and seven year olds and the recommendation resulted in the nicest time we've ever had trying to play a board game with small children. Wide variety of comics too, so there's some my seven year old wants to practice his reading on. Can recommend.

Edit as of 11/16/2025 Yup, still awesome. --------------------- The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and make you feel welcome. What's even better is they are priced more competitively than Amazon AND IT'S LOCAL!
