Meme's Candy and Cards in Downers Grove, IL

It’s hard to decide which is nicer between the shop itself or Nick, the owner. I can’t say enough good things. The shop has all sorts of great candy and Nick has been so great with my daughter as she has gotten into Pokémon, even giving her one of her very favorite cards from his collection.

I literally LOVE this store, I came all the way from the city just to check it out. First of all the owner Nick is really nice he showed us all his merchandise and was very welcoming. I managed to secure some ETBs and some 151 packs for a really good price.

i had read about memes and read nicks amazing story on how he had the beautiful idea to create the shop he has now. the fact that his shop is named after his grandma warmed my heart and i felt compelled to come and see this place.

My daughter and I had so much fun exploring Meme's Candy and Cards! There were so many candies that I remembered from my childhood, super nostalgic! My daughter was thrilled with the candy collection and all of the candy art work! Nick was so nice and patient! His Lugia Pokemon card collection was awesome!
