I usually like to include pictures with a review, but I was too busy enjoying the store and receiving great customer service to think to take a picture. We stopped in New Philadelphia on our way home to Cleveland to visit a friend when we discovered M.A.D. Bros. Games & Hobby.
Great LGS. I'm really grateful this town not only has one but, it has a good one. Shops like this have long been the cornerstone in the local tabletop/ strategy/ RPG/ and TCG communities.
New Philadelphia finally has a game shop! When entering, the employees are always behind the counter, attentive to customer needs. The shop is clean, well lit, and very large. They have a nice selection of current, popular board games, like Star Wars Armada, Love Letter, and Smash Up.
If I could give a 10 out of 5 for this place I would. There are some things you can’t buy in life, and genuine connection with your child is one of them. This place has allowed my 9 year old son and I to bond and become close. This place runs a pokemon league on Mondays nights and it’s beyond family friendly.
