Kirwan's Game Store in Poughkeepsie, NY

“Kirwan’s Game Store absolutely deserves a full five stars. This is one of the coolest and most well-stocked game shops in the entire Hudson Valley. Every time I walk in, I feel like a kid again.

I I’d visited Kirwans Game Store in the Poughkeepsie Galleria prior to the pandemic and was always impressed with their store inventory, cleanliness, and appearance. Since we’ve spent so much more time home, I have to say that the selection of games, miniatures and pop culture teams can’t be beat!

Their staff is very knowledgeable about the game Magic the Gathering. They were very friendly to a beginner like me, and have cards that are priced competitively with ones you might find online. They also have a section in the back where you can play with your friends, if they are not being used to host a event.

This is a picture of a D&D one shot campaign. The DM was awesome, the employees are so nice and knowledgeable. We will definitely be going back! We have already shopped there multiple times and they always have what we’re looking for. Perfect for beginners or advanced.
