Kanto Games and Collectibles in La Plata, MD

It’s rare to find a retro game store, it’s amazing that we now have one in southern Maryland. I’m an avid fan of retro gaming, and with that experience can say that the collection and overall curation of this store is spectacular. I met the owner who was kind, engaging, and obviously extremely knowledgeable.

My partner and I recently got back into collecting pokemon cards, and we love coming here! It's almost a weekly occurrence now lol. The staff are friendly and I like that you're left to browse at your own pace.

I've been playing card games for over a decade at this point and struggled to find a consistent place to buy product and play. Well that's been solved now for a couple years and Kanto is my go to place. I play One Piece tcg rn and there's a great crowd here for that and product available too.

Kanto Games is hands-down one of the best Pokémon stores around! The staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and always willing to chat or answer questions. They really make you feel at home whether you’re a casual collector or a serious TCG player. The store has an amazing selection of cards, packs, and collectibles.
