I have been out of the collecting realm for over a decade. My kids recently got into cards, which I was 100% on board with. I brought my kids in as a reward for a good report card. These guys handed them free packs, and a bunch of singles for their efforts. What a way to re-enter building my collection.
A couple of fellow collectors online recommended Johnny Ford to me and said it was the card shop to go to in the Grand Rapids area. I believe in supporting small, local and independent businesses, so I stopped in today to pick up some supplies for my collection. I'm glad I did.
The #1 sports card shop in West Michigan. I have been going to this card shop with my son since they opened. Everyone working there has great knowledge about the hobby. We have learned so much from buying to selling and grading cards. Most importantly they have treated my son with kindness over the years.
Stopped into Johnny’s for the first time today. As a collector this place is just what I was looking for. Staff was really nice, hobby boxes and packs were at a fair price, and he had all the new product that just came out. Bought a box of hockey and some football packs and pulled fire! Update: More Fire!
