Jake's Cards & Games in Bellefonte, PA

I didn't like bringing my kids in here at first as we were getting some passive-aggressive stares from the 3 tables of older kids playing some campaigns, but the guy behind the counter was accommodating and friendly, and gave us some tips on finding local groups that play certain RPGs.

Like comic books? Looking to play Magic the Gathering? Maybe a new D&D adventure? Do you want to have your Warhammer army go to war on a detailed tabletop that you can play on in store? How about board games? In store game play? This place has it! Cherry was the associate who helped us out.

Jake's continues to be an amazing place to gather for anyone who likes card games or even video games. You can almost always show up when they're open and have somebody to play with. On top of that, there's the convenience of the shop so you can buy anything that you need.

This is a huge sized shop for all your gaming needs, plus they have an eclectic collection of board games on the wall dating back into the 70s. The staff is friendly and the scene is welcoming, with plenty of play space and a decent sized player base for most games.
