Hammerhead Games in Sacramento, CA

Hammerhead is a mixed bag for mtg players. First the good stuff, awesome play space and a great collection of cards. Seriously, looking through their case is an experience on its own. Moving on, every time I go in there I feel like I’m bothering the staff. They’ll say welcome in and look down at whatever they’re doing.

Games Workshop and more. The Shark Tank and a great selection of GW products plus terrain and modeling accessories from AK Interactive, Army Painter, they are getting Turbo Dork paints. They carry Gaslands and accessories. They have a consignment area that's filled.

This card, board, and miniatures game shop is easily the most up to date and well kept facilities I’ve ever seen. The tables were premium and heavy, the entire store looked clean and smelled great. I was there for a prerelease and the entire crowd was kind and welcoming.

I'm still a newbie to MTG. This is probably the cleanest, most organized card shop I've been to. The employees were nice, welcoming, and very knowlegable. Everything was organized and easy to look over. There were plenty of tables for ongoing in-person matches, too.
