Grumpy's Comics (formerly Madness Comics) in Denton, TX

I go for the MtG cards and boardgames. They have a good selection and nice sized play space. They also carry comics and have folks that are quite knowledgeable. They also support other games like Yugioh and Flesh and Blood. This is my shop of choice in Denton. I like the people and the atmosphere.

Wow. What a great experience!! Just started Lorcana and have gone to several TCG stores. Grumpy is the best over all. I felt so welcomed and actually got to play my first TCG there. I never thought I could learn play, but Grumpys made it happen for me. Thank you so much! 100% support from me now on! 😘

The worker was incredibly friendly (antithesizing the business name lol), and even though I didn't buy anything, he gave me this for free. thank you Grumpy's!! I also loved their selection of comics and graphic novels. Spotted some rarities (like Sunstone) and lots of big names and collectibles too.

Everyone who works here is lovely. One time I came in for Commander night, but was met with a notice that there was a 10 dollar entry fee for a special event that night. I didn't know about it and was fresh out of money, but the owner had mercy on me and let me participate anyways! Papa bless.
