In many ways, the work of a customer is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their products and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read.
I was without an LGS for quite some time since the start of COVID, and found myself wondering if I’d ever be able to become a part of another wholesome gaming community local to my area. About 16 months ago, I first discovered Gilded Raven, and was pleasantly surprised about their storefront and welcoming ambiance.
Wandered in here today after stumbling across nearby gaming stores in the area. After reading the reviews, I figured it was a worth a trip. What I found matches a majority of all the positive reviews: a charming little shop with plenty of stock, space for playing games, and welcoming employees.
The moment my friends and I stepped in here late on a Saturday night, we were welcomed by cheerful and friendly staff who explained the layout and what the store offered.
