My 9 year old daughter has quickly taken up collecting cards and other memorabilia. We've visited various stores and card shows over the last year+ and Gem City was by far one of our best experiences. We visited about an hour before closing on a week night and it was quiet.
Wow, can't say enough good things about Gem City! We were on a cross country road trip and life and luck led us to this amazing shop. Took the highway exit for beaver gas, googled cards and collectibles, and Gem City came up.... only 5 minutes away! Easy on/off from highway.
Nice small local card shop. There's a bit of vintage stuff (found a few including Jim Hart and Tarkenton) but most of the stock is newer. Tons of baseball as well. Another place that buys so inventory can shift making it worth a revisit. Staff is good for a card chat as well, always appreciated.
Best experience of ANY Pokemon store in the area. We feel like home here and can spend time looking with ease at their tables. We LOVE Joey and enjoy coming in to catch them all! Definitely recommend this store. Very family friendly and fresh inventory always! Check them out if you haven't :)!
