Amazing is the best word I can use when talking about this delightful card shop. I went in today to trade some Pokemon cards and was delighted to see people playing magic, and Pokemon while other people browsed the store for cards and retro video games.
To all the girlies who play Magic: THIS IS YOUR CARD SHOP. 🫶🏻✨ I genuinely feel like I need to write this because, apparently, in 2026, women playing Magic still have to deal with sexism at card shops, and I honestly didn't realize how much of a problem it was until I started going to other stores.
Love this place! We visited Game IRL in Avon, CT for my son Link’s birthday, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences we’ve had in a long time. Link is autistic and absolutely obsessed with Pokémon and video games.
Came to games irl for the first time today and let me just say I don’t think I’ve had a better experience in any other store. I’ve never collected pokemon cards in a serious way before but I kind of wanted to get all the Durant cards because that’s my favorite pokemon.
