Very nice store located in the heart of Coolidge Corner, located on a second floor above the little indoor mall. The atmosphere is really nice, not too crowded but has collectibles spread throughout the store. The store seems to specialize in comic books, and there had to be at least 2,000 of them within the store.
Did I DIE AND GO TO HEAVEN BECAUSE THIS PLACE WAS SO AMAZING??? (For reference I do not LIVE in the Boston area, I visit from time to time… and I have NEVER seen some place as magical as this.) The walls were plastered with nerdy shit. I was so fricking happy there!!!
Excelsior! Crikey! Holy Moly! Comics!!! The best comic shop in Boston. Unbelievable! Friar Tuck Go! Is this the best comic shop on the East Coast of the United States? Just over a year old and yet it has the atmosphere of confidence and brilliance, because the stock is there and it's set out in a pristine way.
First time here yesterday. Crazy back issue selection, found some really nice condition books for the collection, and the current 25% off was clutch. Also, they stock E Gerber Mylights and backboards. Guy who rang me up was super personable and tipped me off to some amazing ice cream across the street.
