If you're a strategy card game player, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!!! I've never seen such a nice and huge community of Pokémon and Magic players! Everyone has a great vibe and respectful of different levels of strategy (beginners). If you've been looking for a community of off-line players, this is the place to be.
Not counting Game & Grounds but out of the 5 TCG stores in the area I think this one is my least favorite. They are nice enough, but they don't have the cozy vibe or the friendly vibe, the others do It feels a little corporate.
First and foremost, congratulations on the new location. Last time I was at Fire and Dice, was when they were on Vanowen. Second, thank you for having wonderful staff who care and have passion about what they do.
Fire and Dice is located in the Walnut Grove Shopping Center in Northridge. It’s the perfect tabletop gaming store, and they host tournaments for D&D, MTG, Pokémon, and more. I’ve seen tournament entry fees range from about $7 to $20. You can always check out their page for upcoming tournaments, which are super fun.
