Dark Star Comics in East Providence, RI

Went in to get comics for my high school classroom and after speaking with the shop owner he gave me a whole BOX of comics and manga, as well as what I had already picked out - free of charge! My children and I were in awe of his generosity. Will recommend this business to everyone!

This place is absolutely awesome. James is a great guy with a good heart. While I was there shopping and talking with him I saw him hand every kid that walked in Pokemon cards just for coming in. The community needs more places and people like this.

The products are amazing and fairly priced. I came with a friend to just check out the store and we got into an interesting conversation with the owner. He is very personable and flexible with prices. He offered me half off a Lego set and I wasn't able to get it but he let my friend and I keep a parting gift.

Can’t say enough good things about Dark Star Comics in East Providence! James is the nicest guy and he always has great prices on both Pokemon cards and other Pokemon merchandise. I’ve gotten some really cool full arts that I haven’t seen anywhere else, either! Nice vibes and great selection!
