Comfy chairs, well air conditioned, clean gender neutral bathrooms. Lots of games and accessories to browse through. This place has the right stuff. Even with a bunch of people the sound deadening is good enough that you can still hear conversation at your game.
Spent a weekend in St Pete that was supposed to be on the beach but the weather ruined our plans. Came across this game shop as a backup plan and it did not disappoint. The owner was so friendly and immediately welcomed us.
One of my favorite traditions when vacationing is to visit local game stores. My trip to Critical Hit Games was a wonderful experience. The owner was very nice and courteous, and allowed us to demo Takenoko, a game my wife and I have been interested in for quite some time.
The business model is a reflection of the owners themselves, welcoming to both neophytes and experts with passion for board games, miniatures, role-playing games, and card games alike.
