Comics and Collectibles ETC in East Hartford, CT

Been here a few times now. Definitely has a sketchy vibe to it, as the building looks abandoned, there's almost never any cars in the rundown parking lot, and the shop is down a flight of stairs to the basement. However, don't be fooled -- a little diamond in the rough going on.

although it’s rough around the edges and there are definitely some staff issues, this place has great stock and the prices are amazing. it’s my go to spot for gunpla and MTG. My only real issue (that can be fixed, obviously you can’t turn a basement into a beautiful shop in a day) is the employees.

This store has the most impressive collection I've seen. There's no shortage of figurines, comics, or anything else a collector would love to have. I've had the pleasure of speaking with J.R. and the owner a few times and they both are very friendly and knowledgeable.

I came in looking for a few pokemon packs and ended up leaving with a bunch of older cards that I've been trying to find for years. I collect for the art, not for the price so even commons are super fun for me. They pulled out this massive binder of reverse holos just for me and were so sweet to me!!!
