Comet Sports Cards and Collectibles in Joplin, MO

Smaller local shop that splits the shop in half between Pokemon/TCG and Sport cards. Quite a few auto'd jerseys and some auto'd sports photos. I don't know much about Pokemon so I can't really speak the the selection or quality but there was a display case with a bunch of stuff and a couple card boxes to thumb through…

Pros: Staff treats you like an old friend the second you walk through the door. Trades and prices are actually fair (a rare myth in the card world, yet here it is). Peak good-vibes atmosphere. Cons: Willingly ruined my self-control. If you like awesome card shops with great people, this is the place.

I’ve been waiting and waiting for a shop to open up around Joplin. I can say it was definitely worth the wait. The people that work there always make sure to make you feel like more than customer. Always look forward to going in. Definitely the most enjoyable place to go to in Joplin.

Hands down one of the best trading card stores around. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They have an awesome assortment of cards, their prices are very fair and reasonable, and they are always willing to make a deal. Highly recommend.
