recently visited Big Apple Comic & Collectibles, and it was the very first comic book shop I’ve ever been to. As someone who’s just recently gotten into comics, I have to admit I was pretty overwhelmed at first the selection is massive! Luckily, the staff there are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.
Nice selection of comics, and large stock of D&D and Warhammer product s. Prices were a little high. Store was pretty full. It could use more lights, since it was dim, and there's a bit of clutter (probably sorting area) at the left side of the store.
I thought this place had closed a long time ago, however I was ecstatic that they were not went in and it brought back the memories when I went in when I'm 23 years ago. They had what I needed for my kiddos and I was happy to find out a new series of a comic I used to get had opened up again again.
This place is great to buy new comics and back issues. Guy working the counter is awesome and helpful. Any bad reviews are referring to a different place in New York. This comic shop doesn’t sell pops or online.
